In the poem Alone by Maya Angelou, the poems starts off with speaker doing some soul searching, because she is feeling isolated, but she thinks she might have found the answer to her problems in the poems- people need community in order to get up. As it turns out, money wont but happiness for us, even people who is rich they are lonely as well. the speaker warning the " race of man" the thing arent about to get any easier anytime soon. the solution is to realize that no one can make it on their own.
